Press Release Body: The WL 1000 GF, the latest product launch from Waterlogic, specifically designed to address the needs of those markets requiring Reverse Osmosis technology, has been well received in RO-focused areas internationally.
In keeping true to their product philosophy, the WL 1000 GF includes the innovative design elements characteristic of Waterlogic units; the combined carbon and RO filtration system, In Tank UV technology and BioCoteŽ antimicrobial protected parts all combine to attain the highest levels of hygiene.
This particular POU unit, available in Hot, Cold and Ambient or Cold only versions, uniquely features an 11 litre Gravity Feed tank. This novel design element counteracts the key negative point that many RO systems suffer in that the flow rate is very slow. The machine, by building up an internal reserve of RO filtered water, is then able to supply the hot and cold tanks with enough water to supply the typical demand fluctuations of most working environments.
Its sophisticated, high permeability Reverse Osmosis membrane is made from a thin film composite with polyamide (PA) thus making it the ideal solution for areas where RO is a must.
Chris Garner, Waterlogic Director of Marketing, further describes the product as "a perfect example of Waterlogic proactively responding to the distinct identified needs of valued clients" upon whose insights the market analysis and product specifications for the WL1000 GF were based. "We have developed a machine that has a real difference over other RO systems, and we did it by applying some really simple techniques such as listening to our customers in order to understand their problems such that we can work to discover untapped needs."
About RO Reverse - Osmosis (RO) works by filtering water through a semipermeable membrane that will not allow most contaminants to pass through. A process called cross flow is required to ensure that the filter is constantly cleaned.
